제품 설명

Overview

Copper Tungsten Finished Parts are a composite material made of tungsten and copper. Due to their excellent high-temperature resistance, arc erosion resistance, and high electrical and thermal conductivity, they are widely used in aerospace, aviation, electronics, power, and metallurgy industries, particularly in the manufacture of high-temperature components such as high-voltage switch contacts, rocket nozzle throat liners, and EDM electrodes. For information on component ratios, custom processing, and delivery time, please contact us via email. We guarantee to provide our customers with the highest quality products and services.

Copper Tungsten Alloy Properties

  • High electrical and thermal conductivity: The addition of copper significantly improves the alloy's electrical and thermal conductivity, ensuring efficient current transmission and rapid heat dissipation, making it suitable for high-frequency electronic equipment and high-temperature environments.
  • High strength and wear resistance: It possesses high mechanical strength, toughness, and wear resistance, making it resistant to damage under high loads and repeated operation.
  • Excellent arc erosion and ablation resistance: Tungsten's high melting point (approximately 3422°C) prevents the alloy from melting or evaporating under electric arc conditions, extending its service life, especially in welding or switching applications.
  • Low coefficient of thermal expansion: The alloy has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, maintaining dimensional stability under temperature changes and reducing deformation or cracking caused by thermal stress.
  • High-temperature resistance: It maintains good dimensional stability in high-temperature environments, making it suitable for harsh conditions such as aerospace and power systems.

Tungsten Copper Products Process

① Select high-purity tungsten and copper powders, and mix them according to the designed composition ratio (e.g., W70Cu30, W80Cu20, etc.).

② Use mechanical mixing (e.g., ball milling) or atomized mixing, adding a small amount of forming agent to ensure uniform dispersion of tungsten and copper powders and avoid component segregation.

③ Select the molding method according to the product shape. Plates are commonly molded by compression molding, rods are extruded or isostatically pressed, and small contacts are powder injection molded.

④ Melting and high-temperature sintering (1100-1300℃, hydrogen protection) melts the copper powder and fills the gaps in the tungsten powder, forming a dense alloy.

⑤ Perform machining operations such as turning, milling, rolling, or drilling according to customer's size requirements to meet dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.

⑥ Surface treatment (polishing, electroplating) and heat treatment are performed to improve performance, and quality inspection is carried out throughout the entire process.
